Upgrading My Exercise Wardrobe – B5788

My dress is coming along nicely.  The jersey a little tricky to work with ,so I’m taking my time. I plan to complete it tomorrow .

Switching  gears a little.  I walk Buster twice a day.  Lately, I been using this time as my exercise time. So I’ve been walking at an aerobic pace. Here’s the thing, when I’m walking I look bummy. I usually wear a sloppy shirt and some paint stained stretch pants. Yes , I know this is tragic.  So tonight I decided to whip up a nice pair of walking pants for the morning.

I used Butterick  B5788.  I made the capri’s.  This pattern was an easy sew.  It took @ 1.5 hrs to complete . Here are a few details .

Fabric: Supplex fabric from Spandex House – NY PR Weekend
Adjustments: Shorten the length an inch and made a full hip adjustment.

This is a very versatile pattern, with many possibilities.  Right now I plan to use it to bump up my exercise wardrobe.  I have another pair in mind but will add a matching top.
Until next time……………..keep sewing!!!!!!
